If you’re vegetarian or vegan, you know how rich we’d be if we had a nickel for every time someone asked, “Where do you get your protein?”
I completely understand how and why this is a concern for people, but it doesn’t really need to be!
It might not be as obvious where we get our protein, but honestly, there are so many options. It is very possible! I’m going to be talking more about this in upcoming posts, and in the meantime, I wanted to feature some ways I’ve found that make getting your protein an easy thing to do.
I love finding quick, portable options that are packed with protein, and I just discovered 1915TM Organic beverages that make this super convenient.
These beverages are great to bring on-the-go, whether you are packing it for an afternoon snack to beat the 2pm slump, a car trip, or in my case: yoga class.
Protein is especially important to help keep your energy up after a workout! I don’t know about you, but I’m always super hungry after exercise, and if I don’t get something with some form of nutrition FAST, I’m going to start eating anything in sight.
1915TM Organic Protein is made with almond milk, so it’s dairy-free and vegan, soy-free, plant-based, and obviously organic. And wouldn’t you know it – each of their three flavors has 12 grams of protein!
The toughest part about it was picking which flavor I wanted to drink after class – chocolate, vanilla, or coffee – so I packed a cooler and brought all 3. Pro tip: you can make easy friends in a workout class this way.
I really expected chocolate to be my favorite, but they are all equally delicious!
Side story: I purchased these from Publix right before Hurricane Florence was expected to come through North Carolina.

All these look like they would be really good. We don't have Publix in Phoenix but they probably have this in comparable markets. I haven't seen it yet. I"ll have to look for it and will let you know when I get my hands on it and try it.
