  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (I've tried both dark chocolate chips and semi-sweet, use a vegan option if needed)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons smooth peanut butter (optional, see notes)
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds , more as desired

  • In a small bowl, add chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in microwave for 15 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until melted.
  • In a second small bowl, melt peanut butter (roughly 30 seconds in microwave), stir.
  • In a heart-shaped candy mold or ice cube mold, pour in melted chocolate, leaving extra room in some of them. Add in melted peanut butter to the shapes with extra room. Top with pomegranate seeds as desired.
  • Place in fridge or freezer until hardened, at least 10 minutes. Enjoy! Keep leftovers in fridge.

*See post for pictures on flavor varieties.
I made some with the melted chocolate + pomegranate seeds, some with melted chocolate + melted peanut butter, and a few with melted chocolate + melted peanut butter + pomegranate seeds.
